Hello, I am Baran, I am a full stack web developer. But I have a problem, I don't understand design at all, how can I improve this?

Luckily, web design is not based around creative ability, but just learning the main fundamentals and (mostly) sticking to them. I'd recommend just googling/youtubing 'ui/ux design fundamentals' and watching a few videos. That will get you up so speed a lot faster than you think

this isn't a direct answer to your question, but... I'm a full stack web developer too and have been professionally since like... 2005, and I can't design anything either.

I make a design, feel very proud of it, stay on top of the mountain for few days, come back, realize it sucks It's so easy to get tunnel visioned while making a design. Now I have made few strict rules which I check after each design just so I come back to reality

Actually, I watched a lot of videos on the internet, but I'm starting to think that it also depends on talent.

you can't learn creative skills from just watching videos. You can learn them, but it takes conscious practice and the first hundred designs you make aren't going to be very good

Thank you all very much for your help ❤️ I have a few more non-design questions, I don't know if it would be appropriate to write them here, but if not, I can remove them. I live in Turkey and it is very difficult to get a job here. I have never had any experience before. Can anyone give me information on this subject? I consider myself sufficient, but at the same time I am afraid.

The best advice someone gave me was on interior design, but it applies to anything visual. Find examples that you love and mimic them to start. As you gain confidence, you'll start to make changes that will become uniquely yours.
