Beacon (Again)
Sorry for this.. WAY to many results and none are working towards my issue.. and docs arent (at least that I can find) updated. So, took my 3.1 (with beacon) and figured start clean.. new SD card etc. edited my printer config to indicate Beacon and its constantly saying triggered. Not going to try homing in that state (bad things can happen).. so aside of selecting beacon as my probe is there anything additional to be done to printer config?

Ahh then that would be my problem.. I made the false assumption that there was some sort of ‘preconfigured magic’ as there was with all the other hardware. It seems I’ll still need to add the z endstop variables etc to my printer config
If you include the beacon config in your printer.cfg (the one from RatOS), then there is not much more else to do in your printer.cfg. Then you just proceed as written in paragraph 6 in the linked article above
