The mod doesn't generate new chunks
I'm just using DH to test it on 1.20.2 but the mod won't generate any new chunks, Im on fabric and official launcher, Ryzen 5 5600 6-Core Processor and Radeon RX6700xt. I also don't see any errors in chat as I've seen some people mention.

Server or single?
If it’s single player, it takes time depending on the distance
Single
I waited but nothing new came up
It loaded like 2 chunks and stopped
Because it takes time
How much time
For a visual demonstratio
That its working
How much are you trying to generate
I had it on base settings
And did you try increasing CPU load?
So 128
And using other mods?
Is 3 cores alr?
Clean install
Id recommend just sticking to the CPU load presets
Yeah I didnt change anything
But checked
Try increasing it to aggressive
kk
I tried that and something else to max
But the game froze so I gave up
imma try the aggresive thing
How long should I wait before saying it doesnt work?
I think this is enough time
What kind of world is this on?
Just a fresh vanilla world I assume?
Fresh vanilla
I reinstalled just in case
I waited about 4 mins and it loaded abt 10 chunks
And it stops loading them in
Could you share your logs?
/logsstored
You should send your
latest.log
file to provide additional useful information.
Logs are located in the .minecraft/logs
directory.
On Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\logs
On Linux: ~/.minecraft/logs
yeah sure
btw now some seem to spawn
After long time
Hey hey it is loading them all suddenly
Ahahaha lol
Idk what changed
Do I send them still?
/slowgen
If it feels like LoD generation with
Distant Generator
is too slow:
Try increasing CPU Load
in Distant Horizons settings for faster generation, but you will experience more lag spikes and stuttering due to heavier workload on CPU.
To see if Distant Generator
is really working or not:
1) Check CPU usage while in-game, using Aggressive
settings of CPU Load
. If CPU usage's hovering around 80-100%, the LoDs are generating in the background.
2) Go to DH settings > Advanced Options > Debug > Wireframe
, set Enable Debug Wireframe Rendering
and Show World Gen Queue
to True
.
Enabling both settings will show you the visualization of world gen tasks queued and working on the map (blue boxes for queued tasks, red boxes for working tasks)Well if its working then I dont see why

kk thanks for the help :)
and patience lol
Np
Btw any risk by using aggresive?
Or just higher cpu usage
Nope
Unless you forgot to take off the plastic off your CPU before putting the cooler on it
xDDDD
kk thanks my man🙌
Np, have fun playing :)
