Could you explain the problem further?
when i open my inventory or a chest or something like that, even when I open the shader selection menu, my pc lags down to like 2fps
what iris version are you using? Do you have any additional mods installed?
I have a lot of mods but I tried only using sodium and iris, and it still lags. I use either the newest version or the dh version
but it kinda seems random when it happens. Sometimes I load my minecraft and the lag happens and sometimes when I start Minecraft, everything is fine
could it be ram issue
I have 16gb 3200hz Ram and i configured it, that minecraft can use9gb
on the default gui right ?
on evry gui in game if thats what you mean
gui scale is auto
I use iris in minecraft version 1.20.1
but someday it happens all the time and on another day, it doesnt happen at all
Have you try to use msi afterburner to see what spike ups when u open the gui or chests.
nope
maybe ill try that
If that doesn't help you can try installing the latest driver again or getting a beta driver for your gpu as it could be a graphics problem but there is a low chance that it is a driver problem
One question, does the lag only happens inside a world session and not outside (e.g. in the main menu)?
only in a world or server
If possible, can you screenshot the F3 menu?
it didnt happen since I created this chat but I can just send you my f3 screen. Ill try to record with my phone the next time it happens
my nvidia gpu drivers are up to dtae
:megacrong:
Why, GUI scale Auto? Why?
Anyways, it appears you have other mods installed? Can you give a list of the mods installed?
I got a lot of mods in my modrinth but it also happens on feather. I can make screenshots
feather client
could it be like some resource pack ?
have u tried it without the mods
:megacrong:
Feather client is unsupported.
I tried it without the mods and the issue also happens with modrinth but there I have a lot more mods
i dont know but i use 260 mods with shaders and it runs fine
60-120fps
have u tried the default client
it happent
I recorded it
when im in the gui its laggy and otherwise not
huh your running a dual set up are both monitors connected to the right port ?
^1 is HDMI and the other one dp
is the lag only on the second monitor or in both ?
both
in the second video you can see the comparison with shaders on and off
the only thing i can think that could be making that is some mod overlapping that could affect your cpu scheduling
ok
are there any fixes?
have u tried it to launch game with default client
ofc with fabric on it
no but isnt modrinth just an easier fabric or forge?
No
I would recommend using fabric
k
ill try it
is just like a website for mods unless we talking about the launcher thats dif
I use the modrinth app
its a launcher
that's different
Have u tried to use Minecraft launcher and see if it works? With the fabric
That might fix your thing
yea
if it doesn't then ping me if it does then add the solved tag to your post
