custom dns
How can i set a custom dns. Before bazzite i was using nobara and i just edit the /etc/systemd/reolved.conf file

didnt it work? they both use Fedora, so I guess Bazzite and Nobara should use systemd-resolved as their DNS resolvers

according to /etc/resolv.conf systemd-resolved is what's in use
Yes it works. I had to create the file. On nobara the file was already there.
i guess nobara does something in their first-boot that generates that file
but like that should work anywhere
You can modify /etc/systemd/resolved.conf
To specify a specific DNS.
Hey, how did you solve the issue?
Creating an empty resolved.conf and pasting the DNS values didn't work for me
Did you only paste the IP address of the DNS?
LibreDNS
LibreDNS
a public encrypted DNS service, that people can use to maintain secrecy of their dns traffic, but also circumvent censorship.
I use this dns.
The site has what you mast wrote to the file
No, I pasted what nextdns instructed
Which is about 6 lines of code
The file does not exist, should I just create it?
You can create a drop-in file for it
What do you mean drop-in file?
just change it in the network manager gui in gnome or kde?
I want to use DNS over TLS🥲
Should be able to just add it to resolv then, we used to have it on by default but it caused issues for many people
