Should this sport coat work with oxford button down shirt and dark navy jeans?

I’m not really a fan of pairing a blazer that dark with jeans tbh

It can yeah. Wouldn’t be my pick personally. I’d like a pattern or more texture or something depending on the exact shirt/jeans/shoes combo
