dumb question: where to measure inseam from?
Do you measure the inseam from where the zipper ends or the lower crotch stitch in the pic?

Typically lower crotch stich, where the inner leg really starts on the pant
at the "X" where the inside leg seam meets the crotch seam
Wait my pants are measuring at like a 27.5-28 inseam when I measure from there
I typically buy pants listed as a 30 inseam huh
I think the flared jeans i'm considering then are too long at a 32 (can flared jeans be hemmed?)

How to Measure Dress Trousers and Casual Pants
Get the right measurements for dress trousers and pants with our comprehensive guide. Perfect your fit and achieve a polished look.
Any pants can be hemmed but obviously you lose part of the flare. Same as if you hem tapered pants
That doesn't sound optimal 😢
idk what you mean but you can't hem the pants w/o losing the flare. And jeans don't have any seam allowance
Ok so I'm not going to hem then. How much of a difference in length is a quarter-half break to full break?
idk tbh
once they arrive you can just try them on and tuck the hem under and pin it to try different lengths
There are free returns (tho I'll eat the initial shipping I think and I'll feel a bit wasteful). I mean my silvertabs are measuring at a 28" but they are also a bit shorter than I'd like (I'm going to let out the hem)
I pulled the trigger, the curiosity was too high 🫡
Thank you for the help
