4090+7950x obs settings for 1080p
I just want the more or less best settings for this the reason I ask for 1080p is because I have a 540hz monitor that only goes upto 1080p so I figure looking for settings for 4k to be somewhat useless.

GG @Kaiser, you just advanced to level 1 !
Are you streaming to YouTube, Twitch, or both?
@Hunter "Rabbit R1 Apologist" AP sorry for the late reply twitch
You more likely than not will be CPU bound playng at 1080p, so you'll have GPU headroom to handle encoding. Test these settings for an hour while gaming in a local recording to confirm it works:
Don't forget to set the keyframe int 😅 If you're ignoring platform recommendations (in order to hit 8mbit), then they wont set that for you, so 250 frames (keyframe int 0 = 4,1666sec)
I just checked back on this whoops
So what should I set mine to
Should I set it to 0
Or 2
2, for almost all platforms 🙂 @Comandante
Bet ty
is there any way to pause recording if your using advanced settings?
Are you using advanced or custom ffmpeg output? Because there's a big difference
im usingf the settings above
so
That doesn't mean you arent set to custom ffmpeg output
So.....
no like im saying i just copied everything idkl where to check
if im on custom ffmpeg
At the very top of that window. There's a dropdown
you mean that
for audio encoder
That's for streaming. How about the recording tab
Set to "same as stream" = no pausing
Just like it says there in yellow
Or "use stream encoder"
Configure recording g settings separately
ok
cool that fixed it thank you
