Are these boots a fixer upper?

I was wondering if I should get these, it looks a bit used but could I just clean this up and give it a good shine?

They should clean up pretty well. You might want some filler to help with the larger scuff on the toe tho

What are fillers? And what scuff are you talking about

The Shoe Care Shop
Renovatrice cream
Saphir Renovatrice Recolorant for repairing extensive damage to your shoes. Its colouring and filler qualities allow this cream to conceal any deep scratches in the leather. It's also commonly used as sole dressing. Once dry, it will not rub off. Before using this product please consult our "how to use" instruction bel

Depends on how much you care about the scuffs on the toe. They won't buff out but you could get pretty far with just some regular wax polish if you didn't want a specific product

honestly it depends on the leather quality. The look of those creases tells me it might not be fantastic, but if you hit the whole boot with some saddle soap and some leather conditioner, I'll bet you'd get a nice shine.
