I was just about to make a thread about this myself after trying for a while to figure out if something in my setup could be causing it, is it an issue with the build?
Yeah ive spent 3h trying to figure out what was wrong. Deleting the DH data from ur save wont do anything

Q: Can I hide the errors in the chat?
A: Yes:
In the Distant Horizons menu you can turn off error logging in:
Advanced -> Logging -> Debug -> Debug Switch
for now i have each toggle set to chat off
seems to run fine
For me it's causing constant lag spikes and also not generating distant chunks, so I think I'll just wait for a fixed build
Ah yeah i let me game run for a bit and it seemed to work after.
problem is you cant revert to an older build. It would crash my game
Because of the config file or the cached chunk LOD data?
Could be the config file. I didnt really try to identify after it kept crashing. at that point i was 3h in trying to fix it hahah
just went to current 2.0.3a and disabled log in chat lol

Also probably worth noting is that I specifically downloaded the build meant for shaders from the Iris server (which is itself linked in the flowstate video in #announcements here)
And despite that, with the shader that's known to work with DH, it does not work
