however it appears that this is unrelated to Iris Shaders and this may not be the best place for support with this issue

Oh trying to connect to a server? :linus: Well bad news for the OP that Iris 1.7 causes online authentication to fail, preventing them from playing on a server.

Unless IMS plans to keep it that way. For release versions, it should be fixed.

That is not the error That error means that the registries are out of sync (Two different sets of mods on client and server)

what're you trying to do, load DH and shaders? just download the mods from #dh-compatibility-faq , I'm 90 percent sure the zip files there still have working combos of the mods
