question about signalk-speed-wind-averaging:
Does anyone else use this plugin and notice the "Max Wind Speed" is never correct? It seems to get "stuck" on numbers for a while that...obviously aren't the recent max wind speed. I know the plugin hasn't been updated in several years, so maybe it's a bug in the plugin?

yes i tried it (quite some time ago) and found it had a couple of issues … i gave up using it.
i use influx and grafana to do all my wind statistics
whilst a bit more work to setup, i found that it gives me a lot more flexibility.
eg i display 5min avg and max as well as some other periods .. i use them for difficult situations (im a powerboat not a sailor 🙂
ok, glad it's not just me. I guess I might take a look at the code and see if I can spot an obvious issue
@Hans yep, as I remembered... slightly different issue than you are having but my guess is this plugin is out of date and does not work properly
