Bliss Shaders, aquatic life not looking right
I have installed all the "DH" shaders I know of; Bliss-Shaders-DH, BSL, Noble, Photon, and Shrimple. The aquatic life in question is from the mod "Hybrid Aquatic." When under water, these creatures look like they are above the water, as seen in the screenshots. I tested the other shaders and all of them as well as no shaders do not produce this visual. It is definitely not the end of the world, but I while writing this I also noticed the same thing with the "Mystical Mounts" mod -- the sea creatures are jarring when underwater.

Does the same problem happen with Iris 1.6.17 and no distant horizons?
I have not tried yet using any other visions or no DH. I definitely will do that the first chance I get tomorrow and report back.
Alright
:linus:
Feel like this is a known issue. You can check that in the pinned message in #Bliss.
Thank you. I'll do that as well!
I can confirm using Iris 1.6.17 and disabling DH does not fix the issue. There was a report of this issue on 4/9/24 and maybe before that as well. Looks like particular modded mobs might do this. I posted in the Hybrid Aquatic chat. One dev said "shader issue" other said "well, our issue actually". So maybe it is something the modder has done... especially when not all of their mobs produce this effect.
Time to test this with other shader packs. If this issue only appears on Bliss shaders, feel free to report it either in #Bliss since we're here, or at the Modrinth page or other contact channels like bliss channel in shaderLABS server.
It did not happen in the other shader packs listed here as working for DH so I will report that there
