What color boat shoes should I get to wear with a variety of shorts colors (Kakhi navy blue grey)? I mean between light brown and dark brown

i would candidly say that if it's between two different browns it doesn't really make a difference so follow your heart/trust your gut
Dark brown
Look at it this way: Dark brown shoes + light trousers generally looks better than light brown shoes + dark trousers. So dark will be more versatile.
