Bliss shaders causing blue fog covering entire screen

Hello, so I recently installed the Bliss Shaders as well as Distant Horizons and this is what I see when I load the game and add the shaders. Any idea how to fix this?

messing with the fog options in DH doesn't really do much either

I have realised the blue was added by the Volumetric Fog option in the Bliss DH settings, yet there's still a blur I can't quite understand where's coming from

and changing the shader still leaves this...

1. Why are you asking for help with OptiFine in the Iris discord? 2. OptiFine + DH is expected to look horrible because OptiFine doesn't have proper DH support like the Iris 1.7 beta does; it simply allows the shaders and the LODs to coexist, which causes problems as you've experienced

I mean, I did add iris

iris is a fabric mod. you are playing on forge optifine and iris can't even be used together

Oh that explains a lot, so switching everything to fabric will get rid of the bugs? I saw DH for forge on cursedforge so I guessed I'd give it a try

okay, I'm fully on fabric now, got rid of forge, yet now I'm experiencing a problem with the lack of fog from any shaders I apply

for one, it's noon. Most shaders have very little fog at noon also, you are now dealing with a larger render distance thanks to Distant Horizons, so the fog appears farther away

ah, so changing the fog distance in the settings should fix this?

if the shaders you use have such settings, yes before, when you were using optifine, the fog appeared closer due to your actual render distance being what appeared to be like 4 chunks or less

alr, other than that, my resource pack seem not to work properly, does that have anything to do with me switching from forge to fabric? As far as I've seen, on curseforge, resource packs don't require mod loaders sorry for all the bothering

you might have been using a resource pack that uses optifine features. Here's a list of optifine replacements for fabric, the mod loader iris runs on: https://optifine.alternatives.lambdaurora.dev/
