Kinda good pc lag on with DH and shaders
I have an rx 6600 , ryzen 2700 with 32 gigs of ram, idk why im lagging hard but how much ram should I be giving minecraft?

same I have a 13700k and 3080 but can barely keep over 30fps for some reason, ive seen videos of people who have 100+ fps with similar or same specs on youtube.
You should only be giving Minecraft about 6 GB of ram
If you need more use the Shenandoah GC
It depends on your DH settings. If you set the chunk generation to aggressive/max, you should expect lower performance.
I'd start off with a base framework of performance optimization mods too.
Something adrenaline/simply optimized
If I give Minecraft more then 6 gigs of ram will my performance become worst?
The more ram you give Minecraft the worse the stuttering
what if i set it to 1gb
You will not have nearly enough ram for DH
You would unironically probably get 1 fps or less
Extreme stuttering to be precise
I allocated 10 gigabytes, I got "smoother" performance. My game froze and almost crashed with 2 gigabytes.
from my own experience. I believe there may be an issue with iris and amd gpu’s
yes there is from what I've heard
Nvidia cards generally perform better and have less bugs as far as I can tell
i’m assuming with shaders you get bad frames(50-30) and without you get good frames (100+)
if thats the case, you may just have to wait for an update
even with more ram allocation, minecraft isn’t using the gpu properly
if i were u, i would create a clean instance and add the important optimization mods first and then test the rest
and imo graalvm is working fine with better performance but some people says redhat is better

This is what I used for my decision to use graavl
ye same
and another one idk if there's any difference

I wish I could use GraalVM but it has a weird conflict with the SMP I play on and doesn't let me connect to it over WiFi
They forgot to add sodium to the list, which they mention below
from my own experience, try the iris update in https://discord.com/channels/774352792659820594/883067831485366304
That’s old. 1.7 is out already
how about redhat
i know its stupid or random but if you have wallpaper engine , disabled it and close it and re open minecraft , i was with 90fps limit and i did that and started playing with 400+ Lol
Normal Minecraft I'm at 100fps do you know how much better it's gonna be with the performance mods?
Thnx for the tip! Unfortunately I don't use a wallpaper engine. It's just weird that I am hovering around 20-30 fps at 250 render with shaders.
Screenshot/send all of your settings
the fact we can say only 20-30 fps with 250 render distance now is crazy
unless thats not what you meant by 250 render
That's what I meant. And yes it is crazy that we can do it lol. Just s a w some lower spec pcs run it better on YouTube is all. I'll post more info when I got time 🙂
a lot better actually if u used the required mods only
It takes 5 minutes to get the Prism Launcher and try
Don't know what that is
you don't need Prism Launcher
they were just suggesting it
it's simply another way to launch Minecraft. It doesn't do anything for performance or stuff like that. But to answer your original question, https://tryitands.ee/
