cobbler recs and what to expect

loafers are fucked and need a resole. any idea how much that should cost for Boston area? also recs for places are appreciated.

I'd probably call around and compare quotes between a couple places. Prices probably very a bit from city to city. I resoled a pair of birks and they were like $80, this might be more since it's more involved.

I pay around equivalent of 120 USD for resoles in Canada for derbies or boots or whatever

I'd expect $100 for a full flat resole but maybe $50 for repairative work if there's additional shit fucked up

It looks caufht pretty early so likely no damage to the midsole or insole but hard to say until it’s opened up

I'd guess around $120 or so with options to upsell for nicer/different sole types. I'm not familiar with any Boston cobblers in particular though

If you’re going to end up in western mass anytime soon shu-fix in Northampton is really good and you don’t have to pay the city markup The dude there is like a 5th generation cobbler who moved here from Portugal Lovely guy
