what should i do to fix DH
I got a popup to update to latest version of DH and i said yes. Then i opened the game, but didnt get any sound. I then proceeded to restart the game but it crashed and didnt open. I then proceeded to download Iris fabric installer and the 4 mods that came with it DH included, deleted the old versions and put the new ones in. Then the game opened, but i was met with this error and DH just bugging the screen. What should i do? Please help🙏

Show mods folder
Also bruh this aint a crash

Sorry. It crashed before, and that led to this, but yeah
Try deleting your old DH config
/config
To edit the config, press the button next to the FOV slider to edit the config.
The config file found in .minecraft/config/DistantHorizons.toml
These are all mods

Ty
If this doesnt help, try with just Iris, DH, Sodium and Indium
Should I delete the folder in .minecraft og do what the bot says?
Im not good at this mod stuff yet, so im not sure how

And now it crashed. Havent changed anything yey
Yet
Thats when i tried to open a singleplayer world
Go to the config folder and delete the DistantHorizons.toml file
Did that now and it didnt fix it. Trying the other one now
Okay. I tested them and its only the distant horizon one that is breaking the game. What should i do about that
Try deleting DH and replacing it with a build from #links-n-downloads
I tried doing that but i get the same warning
error i mean
Are you using a launcher like Prism or ATlauncher?
Nope. I dont have any sinleplayer worlds so should i just delete Minecraft and start over again?
I only play on a realm
Try moving your .minecraft folder to somewhere else on your PC, that's basically the same as a clean install
And then you still have all your old folders if you need them
I still remember when I forgot to backup my screenshots folder, not a good day :(
What if the problem lays in one of those other folders?
Well this way we can find out
i see
Okay. I moved it over. What should i do now?
Start over?
Basically yeah
For stuff like this its really useful to have a launcher like Prismlauncher, Id recommend you'd give it a look
Whats the benifit with that? What will it change?
You can have complete separate instances of minecraft with different mods, settings, worlds, versions, etc
aaaah
You can also make a quick instance with for example just Iris, DH, Indium and Sodium to see if its an issue with your normal instance
Alright it worked!! I will check out prismlauncher!
Nice! Have fun playing
Thanks!
