Do washed jeans (i.e. non-raw) need breaking in?
We all know that raw jeans need breaking in but is this also the case for washed jeans? I just got some mid-blue weekday jeans that fit pretty well except the crotch is a bit uncomfortable, should I expect this to loosen up significantly?

I'd say not really, no. They're more likely to just blow out
Denim as a fabric will stretch a bit as you wear it so it will break in a bit but not usually in the crotch
Yeah I'd either try a size up or just try a different brand/cut
Ok might try just wearing them around the house during the returns window but yeah might have to try another brand.
This jeans hunt is sending me kind of insane. I just want something with a high enough rise that I can tuck in without my torso looking long lmao.
any article of clothing can be broken in (but not necessarily must be), only the reverse is consistently true (that raws must be broken in)
wearing prewashed jeans for a long time will make them softer and more plied to your frame
Bit slim for me, nudie Tuff Tony is about the width I'm going for. Those fit pretty well but I'm looking out for cheaper options because it's just a pair of jeans and I feel like there must be something out there below Ā£100

Looking for a wider hem (>22cm) and more of a washed mid-blue, thanks though š
