NB 550's, and how to pick a colorway that fits your style?
Hey everyone I recently saw someone wearing these:
https://www.newbalance.com/pd/550/BB550ESB-D-10.html?ecid=ps_Google_pla_197375688770_19759027876&crtp=paidsearch&ncr=true&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw8diwBhAbEiwA7i_sJSCaHbCnTgRFVeFLq2MmRpVVo__zkXzkpzainoMRRJ6qXVzA6zyn3xoCoYcQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
And I think they just look rad. The white shoe with a pop of color on top of being a new balance (they're one of the only shoes that feel comfortable for me)
But I don't wear a lot of green. I wish I could give you guys some pics but I mostly wear black, white, white sneakers. Sometimes blue jeans, and I have a pair of black and white cargos. Idk if the green which seems to be everyone's favorite is right for me.
So how do I pick a colorway and also are these shoes even good or am I tripping

I think that the 550 silhouette is really cool but the actual new balance general release colorways are all super mid
I think you may be better off checking stockx for one of the aime leon dore pairs, those tend to be (imo) more versatile

Hmmmm
Now it's... Too plain..!
Ok! The ones you linked are pretty solid tbh, new balance has release far worse in the past so I could just be holding on to that bias. As far as the green of it all, I think you can probably style these as you would a normal white shoe, kind of like how you would the stan smith.
This versus the Stan smith, what would you prefer? I'm on a white shoe kick but I find the stand Smiths maybe too narrow for me
These for sure
You should try a pair on in store (i think the hype has died down) they are not as comfortable as other nb models
Much more like AF1s than say 574s
I got this color and I love it. It's a Beams collab.
I tried em on in store and they seem pretty okay. My last pair was some 996s from japan (cheap version) and those were still pretty comfy. Anything that fits this style but is also as comfy?
