Do you mean the LOD data? Just copy the file(s) over
/lodstored
Single Player:
- Overworld:
.minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- Nether: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIM-1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- End: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIM1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- Custom Dimensions: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIMENSION_FOLDER/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
Multiplayer:
- .minecraft/Distant_Horizons_server_data/SERVER_NAME/
my friend loaded in ALOT of a world in a server we play and to save time for myself, i wanted to see if i could just take his DH world file in server data folder so that i dont need to run around everywhere to load everything in
is that LOD files?
Then transfer these files. You can upload the .sqlite to some temp upload service or Google drive and have the other person download from there
Yes
All LODs for a certain dimension are stored in one file
oo okok tysmmm
theres nothing in my saves folder,
for me its in here
.minecraft\Distant_Horizons_server_data\Minecraft+Server\overworld\DistantHorizons.sqlite
is that the same file were looking for?
o nvm
i was reading the single palyer 1
all good
Tip: don't give all your servers the same name, that will confuse the mod and have it possibly read LOD data from a different server
oo
is it also possible to rename the folder?
Server name is that currently
will re naming it do anything?
Renaming the folder and the entry in your server list is your best bet. Won't cause any issues if you only have a single server saved, though
just should be the same as your server name in MC.
if you name the server with the same IP in your MC otherwise, it would only work if the folder's name is corresponding to it
oo okok all makes sense
tysm
as far as i remember
it used to have a very different format before
sry if im wrong, in advance 😄
ahaha ll good im probs just gonna stick with how it is rn
i dont really care about the name 2 much
Depends what you mean by format
i think it had the IP as a folder name
in 1.6
but, really, server side DH is a revolution,
and I only hope, that w/ hardware advancing over time
it would get insanely good and smooth.
Fyi there's also #Server side fork
If you own the server and are running fabric/forge consider this
