Loading mods with Iris/DH beta
I used the installer found on the iris website to get the fabric, DH compatability iris version. the installer installed iris, distant horizons and their dependencies. However, even if I put them in the mods folder, I can't get any other mod to load in. Please let me know if it's possible to load other mods on the beta version.

If your going the fabric manual method, all mods need to be in the mods folder
Its not fabric manual method, its the installer

And then a different folder for DH
So I would recommend using the manual method if you want to add extra mods

So just get the GitHub download link for either 1.20.1 or 1.20.4 in #dh-compatibility-faq
And add those mods + yours in the mods folder
If you launch 1.20.4 fabric, the game will only recognize the mods in that one folder
The game runs from that reserved folder when you launch with that profile
So it won’t recognize any mods added to the normal mods folder

Xaeros is incompatible with the DH beta, someone in the DH discord server had the same issue
