Collar Suggestions W/O a tie

Looking to order a shirt from Proper Cloth, but need help on a collar suggestion. What kind of collar should I choose If I'm wearing a dress shirt, no tie, with or without a jacket? President Spread collar in this image seems to be the recommendation, but I also like the look of the collar in the left image layout.

I'm not too big a fan of proper cloth's recommendations (seems like they make p nice stuff tho) Dress shirt no tie i'd go for a bit more casual both in terms of the fabric and collar Are those tweed jackets in those pics? Proper cloth's oxfords would be great with those Left image is some type of polo shirt?

Definitely is a polo shirt - although I still liked the shape. My original shirt was an OCBD, but wanted to explore the dress shirt no tie route as well.

A long point button down collar can work. The one-piece collar like on the left side of the 2nd pic is also an option. Spread collars without I tie I don't think I've ever seen look good. Peter Zottolo talks about it a bit here as well https://www.instagram.com/p/C4i4G3PJuyF/?img_index=1

If you’re forgoing a tie, please, for the sake of all that is right and good, don’t just take your tie off and wear any old shirt. It looks absent-minded, like you left your house without a tie on. Ideally, look for a shirt meant to be worn open, like a one piece collar (sometimes called a Capri, Cooper, or Riviera collar) without a top button. ...

Thanks, I did some research and think I landed on this Proper Cloth Straight point collar: https://propercloth.com/collar-styles/straight-point-collar
Proper Cloth
Straight Point Collar - Proper Cloth
The Straight Point has the narrowest spread among any collars out there, and has been around as long as men have been wearing coats and ties—think pre-Ivy Style Ivy League.

You could try this all the way buttoned up without a tie but that's not a beginner move An example is some of Jerry Seinfeld's standup fits you see in the intros to Seinfeld episodes And I think it could work unbuttoned without a tie?

nit: I'm not a big fan of linearly classifying fashion choices like this
