The only things that catch my (somewhat unqualified) eye, are that your iris version is 1.6.x, but the only versions supporting distant horizons shaders are labeled 1.7.0 beta. This is something you can get from the iris shaders discord server. Also, your distant horizons jar file appears to have a last edited tag in February, which is very out of date.
My recommendation is that you delete your current builds of distant horizons and iris. Then get the latest build of distant horizons linked in #links-n-downloads, and get the 1.7.0 beta release of iris (can be found here: https://discordapp.com/channels/774352792659820594/1214628406097088584)
Now in case you are confused by the distant horizons build you download from #links-n-downloads having the same version number and overall filename as the build you already had, they ARE a different build. the development versions tend to use the same version number and filename for many consecutive builds until some major progression has been made.

So, I tried same thing, same mods, but on the 1.20.2 version. Still same issue
I believe it is specifically the versions of mods that are the issue, not your minecraft version. I wouldn't expect 1.20.4 builds to launch on 1.20.2
and deleted the IRIS
can it be the essentials?
did you try getting the latest nightly build of distant horizons, as I mentioned in my earlier message?
I downloaded all the mods for 1.20.2 and the game version also 1.20.2
alright, interesting. Have you tried launching after only removing the essentials mod but leaving everything else?

well, fixed all the versions, now it works
so I think essentials sadly is the problem here ;((
It all seems to work, but its slow, really slow
I have the render distance on 1k
What is your CPU (and is it sufficiently cooled)? What is your GPU/do you have integrated graphics? I ask, because hardware has a very direct influence on how fast distant horizons is. CPU for LOD generation and update speed, GPU for framerate
R5 3600, 3070ti, 32gb ram
