Modloaders
Do I seriously have to install a modloader bloatware in order to use the mod in Minecraft? I will not be downloading extra proprietary software just to play mods for a video game. If it is the case, I will not be returning to Minecraft in the future.

all the mod loaders are open source. They exist so that you can use multiple mods at once

i only want to install one (1) mod. I will never install any other mods
I just want to drag and drop and be done. no more, no less

please don't run minecraft vanilla without performance mods

I’m assuming by mod loader you mean forge/fabric right? Not something like curse forge.

Not sure how it’s entitled? If they don’t want to download stuff then they don’t want to download stuff. They’re not asking or demanding anything of anyone. I don’t really get it but they’re not offending anyone.
