thats how DH works, it can't render half blocks or stuff like that

iirc theres a option for not showing kelp tho, so maybe theres also a option to not show flowers
if you'd rather want that

There’s in option in the graphics settings called something along the lines of tint block that I think will stop flowers from showing up in LODs
tint with avoided blocks?
