Use the lastest version of Iris but on 1.19.3
Hello, i'm playing on a 1.19.3 server and using Iris 1.5.2.
I'm using a shader that requires the latest version of Iris to work, and here's the problem.
Is there a way, a mod to update Iris but on 1.19.3?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Hello, i'm using rethinking-voxels_beta18d for 1.19.3 and there's not light from the candles. We told me i need to take a newer version of the shader but doesn't work with my actual Iris version for 1.19.3
Strange that candles aren't emitting light, have you checked the settings to make sure that candles can glow? The lanterns are which clearly means the shader supports glowing items
By default there are these settings for candles
Don't know why it doesn't glow
yeah that's really weird
If i set the Candle Brightness to maximum, i get this result but the shadows on the floors are not normal, the result is weird.
I mean, at least they glow
I don't use Rethinking Voxels
use 1.20.4 with ViaFabricPlus
it will allow you to join 1.19.3 servers
I'm sorry, i'm not sure i understand. Could you give me some details on how to do this please? I mean, should i take version 1.20.4 Iris with 1.19.3 ViaFabricPlus? I'm using Fabric on 1.19.3 actually

just get 1.20.4 everything, as well as ViaFabricPlus for 1.20.4
and then it'll convert the 1.19.3 server into something your 1.20.4 game can play on
So i take everything in 1.20.4 and even if the server i play on is in 1.19.3, ViaFabricPlus will make it work by making it compatible with all my mods? 😮

Oh and just to be sure, i have to install Fabric again in 1.20.4 right?
I've selected 1.19.3 with ViaFabricPlus to enter my server and i have this error

you’re better off getting the server owners to update if you can

Btw the issue i have is a known issue it seems. So just need to wait them to fix it.
