Are Drop Shoulder Dress Shirts acceptable?
Trying to find shirts that fit around the chest but the sizing for this one shirt has huge shoulder seams, probably 2 inches hanging off each side

That sounds like it's going to look bad, absent any other context.
Pics are much more helpful than a text description though
the shirt looks a bit big all around, unless you're going for an intentionally oversized fit I'd try sizing down by 0.5 or 1 in the neck and by at least 2 in the sleeve
