What happened to the "player log"

Previously, the player log displayed the nickname with which you were on the server at n time Now it displays the current nickname. It seemed strange to me because before it worked very conveniently and I would like to know if it is possible to somehow return the display of the nickname with which the person logged into the server at that time, and not his current one.
