DH not auto loading/generating?
Hi, im sorry if this is a already asked question but i could not find something similar and would like maybe a confirmation on it. But is it normal that i have to manually load in chunks for them to be saved? and then obviously be used by DH if i travel away (which does work).
Now if i load in a world i have to travel first. I can sit in 1 spot for a while but it just wont render any further. I also tried going up 4000 blocks but that didnt do anything.
I tried setting the distance from 128 all the way to 1000. Enable distant generating is on. I got cpu on balanced but i also tried "i paid for all".
I tried seeing if forge or fabric did anything different but this didnt matter for the generation. (fabric does give me a stutter when its loading new chunks tho. but thats another thing)
I tried forge on 1.20.2 and fabric on 1.20.4
allocated a max of 12gb of ram since i got a total of 32 anyway and i got a 7800x3d with a 4070 ti.

im going to guess that its not normal for it to not show anything very far? unless ive been there
No, definitely not with cpu load at I paid for the whole cpu and a 7800x3d
if it helps i can post a screenshot of how far it renders as i load in
