Simply optimized not working with the new Iris+DH beta build.
I saw people on youtube using both so idk what is wrong with it.

I edited the c2me config as well
here's the full log
Failed to initialize Iris compatibility. Try updating Iris and ImmediatelyFast before reporting this on GitHub
idk... perhaps do what's said in the logs?i literally just installed iris
ImmediatelyFast seems to have problems with Iris, and DH is not mentinoed in logs
how can it be out of date
have you updated immediately fast?
i also just installed simply optimized
his is latest from modrinth
try dopping ImmediatelyFast
this is all a fresh install
yep
that was it
lemme see if i can load into a world
It works. Thanks.
Another question though, performance with bliss shaders is exactly the same as it was without simply optimized
is that normal?
let's see...
I checed descriptinos to those mods, and most of them focus on improving CPU performace in very CPU limited vanilla rendering
shaders and rendering of DH on the other hand are much more GPU limited
that makes sense but I have a 6800xt
sure its not top of the top line
but far from inadequate
maybe there is some super-demanding setting in the shaders that i have enabled?
I don't think you understand... you said that there is no diferance in performacne with shaders with or without those extra optimisation mods
No I get it, this means shaders-on performance is not constrained by cpu
but my gpu
those mods will not iprove your perforamce as much if at all if you are limited by GPU already
however, its a high-end gpu, i was wondering if bliss shaders was this demanding
bliss is actually quite tame
so what? a 6800xt isnt enough to get 60fps?
thats disappointing
and hard to believe
what is your vanilla render distance?
8
6800xt is aobut 20% better than my 4060 and I can somewhat run 60FPS but it's not "super even no drops"
hmm
in bliss shaders made sure that shadom mapping is disabled
(it's in DH specific options of the shader)
that setting IS really demanding, as it in practice requires order of magnitude better shadows
it is off
in that case i guess this is normal
I have waving stuff disabled
any other intensive settings you would recommend me to disable?
shadow quality
shaders always have been super demanding
i believe it is way faster than just 20%
more like 50
dropped shadow res to 1k
and turned off contact shadows
some test put it at 25% some at way more

didnt make much difference
anyhow, i'll mark this solved. Thanks
I think I know why... 3Dmark is much more VRAM intensive, compared to "how quickly can you draw those triangles" of passmark score
good to note
