Constant micro stuttering= pretty much unplayable

Hello, I have figured out that DH and possibly iris? Has been causing my game to stutter like crazy. I gave myself 8gb of ram and even turned DH settings down to low impact but pretty much every other frame my fps drops to 0.

What render distance is it set to? Also, are you running Minecraft on an SSD?

Yeah an NVME Doesn't seem to correlate with any distance. It happens with the mod on and off, but only happens when the mod is installed what

The only mods I have are the ones that come with the iris installer also has nothing to do with ram since i got 64 gb

the amount of ram your system has is irrelevant the more ram you allocate to minecraft the more it stutters 8 gb is usually too much for most people but it still shouldn't cause lag this bad

I think its the garbage collection on java for some reason the mod makes it like 20x worse for me changed it to 3 Wait fellas hold on I think I fixed it I used a custom argument

Wait, isn't more Ram, more better for Minecraft?
Slooshie

no the more ram you allocate the more the GC has to clear which causes stuttering on high ram allocation

Sorry but what is GC, and how much Ram schould I allocate then? Right now I habe 14GB allocated

14 is way too much you only need about 4-6 8 if you have an insane amount of mods or plan to use 512 DH render distance
