Turning on vsync makes the whole screen (except mouse cursor) flicker in black

flicker in the menu too
the performance is really low too, im barely getting 60fps with constant stutters and hitching
dropping to abt 45 fps
awful fps after playing a bit

The bad FPS is probably mc running out of ram
i put in 14gb
Try lowering it to 8 gigs and using a different java distro like adoptium or graalVM, these are more optimised than the default one so you'll stutter less.
