The project lib wouldn't appear in the global lib. Is it possible to reverse it to convert the project lib into global lib
Sure, just set the name and link to the library file in the Global Libraries section.
The only difference between Project-specific and Global libraries is the visibility. The format is identical.
Well done video, nice and short. Perhaps it would be good to capture the top menu as well so people can see what is selected. Also might be good to leave and pin a comment to get people talking.
I subscribed, left a comment, and a thumbs-up, would recommend others do the same! It is good content and I'm looking forward to see what else you come up with!
Thank you, Jeremy. I will capture a slightly bigger area next time. Thank you for the comment on youtube.
So what is next on the agenda? The nice thing about your first subject is that as someone who has a bit of experience with KiCad, but a limited amount of formal training, it's nice to see some direction as to how to set projects up files-wise. So good for noobs and some experienced people alike.
IMO, the shorter length is welcome, though I'm not sure how YouTube prioritizes that sort of length versus the typical 10-minute+ clips. Maybe good for search and you can bank on getting people to subscribe (and hopefully notify)?
I guess the good and bad thing is that things change from year to year. So plenty of room for fresh content, but only so evergreen so to speak. Anyway, good luck!
The other two parts were recorded and edited. They will be published in the upcoming weeks. I don't have enough time to make them faster.
The next part will be dedicated to using Project-specific libraries and the other will be an extra episode handling a bug in KiCAD.
Sounds good. It's always a challenge trying to put out videos on a regular schedule!

1๏ธโฃ All used symbols.

3๏ธโฃ All used 3D models.
This time, we will learn how to fill them with items.
