Lost terrain tool connection
I made a Terrain (the outer walls) by increasing the curve significantly and made a new terrain for the bottom floor. I came back later after I added materials and hoped to adjust the tiling. But the terrains seems no longer available to fix in the Active Tools bar. Any suggestions to fix? (Or what I did wrong to lose editability). Thanks!

Hey @WestinsWorldStudio ! 🙂
The only ways I can think of that would make the connection lost is:
1. you convert the terrain to a static mesh
2. You delete the terrain tool from the list in active tools
And I guess you did neither? 🙂
could you find our JSON, and send it to me?
This JSON file is named after your level name and is located next to your level
and of course, when you start your level and click on the terrain in the viewport, anything weird in the UE output log?
@Daniel - COO When I reopened the project the two terrains were missing. I have a feeling it is because at some point I was messing with splines, and accidentally deleted the terrain. I did Undo to get the terrain back. Perhaps deleting the terrain by accident at some point loses the connection to the Show Tools even if Cntl+Z. I will update here if the problem replicates! I suppose a more concerning issue is that the terrains both disappeared when I reopned the project the following day, but not too harmful in this case since I'm just testing
Yee ctrl Z may not work for getting back the tool connection 😕 will try my self later 👍
Cool! I get excited to use the tool every day. Great work!
Happy to hear that 😄😄
You probably have much more to explore in it 😄
The tool/feature list is quite long nowadays
