Increase lod quality in DH settings.
Requires a lot of VRAM though. You have been warned.
whats the DH settings?
Like where would i find it?
Next to the FOV slider.
Im still getting the big green and brown mountains even when the quality preset is at max
Not much else you could do in that regard. If anything, you may want to report this issue to the Distant Horizons team over their Discord server.
Try going into DH config > graphic > render quality and the first thing should be set to block
or chunk
i cant remember
@Topel1
I'll try tommorow and get back to ya
Advanced settings > Graphics > Render quality
thats it
alright
let me know
if that was the issue
Yeah the setting was set at blocks
did you try changing it?
I did and whole mountains were still just green no matter what setting
Mountain looking green? At this point, you are most likely looking at intentional behavior from Distant Horizons. With that said, what are the expectations you have for how the mountain look like?
Yeah i guess it would just be an issue with it rendering only some chunks of the mountain, and putting the rest to the lod mode.
I'm having the same problem, entire mountains are rendered as solid green beyond the games' actual rendered chunks. I would like to be able to somewhat approximate how terrain is supposed to look at the simulated distances, as it is the pop in/texture change is so distracting that for me it defeats the point of using the mod in the first place
This is a completely intentional behavior by Distant Horizons. If you feel like it shouldn't be this way, feel free to report this to the Distant Horizons team over their Discord server.
