Saphir Renovateur - are these two the same?

Does anyone know if they are the same formula and one is just an older presentation? One of them is a lot cheaper where I am than the other, even when considering the difference in size.

I believe Renovetine is a spray made suede and nubuck specifically whereas Renovateur is for leather conditioning Also on the Saphir website you can choose a color for Renovetine so it seems like a very different product Renovateur is more of a creme that you rub into leather for conditioning

the black can is a spray as well, and is also available in the same colours. The renovetine's page said renovetine/renovateur

Yeah you might be right then that it's the same project. Looks like the Renovateur spray is specifically for suede and nubuck as well

The Medaille D'or stuff is "better". It's all that I use personally so I can't comment on the blue label stuff

It seems to but I’m quite minimal in my suede care routine so I’ve only used it a handful of times

Suede is NOT Delicate
Myth: suede is delicate. I don’t know how the myth got started, it’s entirely false. Real suede is an incredibly durable leather. It doesn’t show surface scratches or stains very much. It can get literally soaked and bounce right back. It’s incredibly easy to care for; it’s receptive to neglect and papering. Oak Street Bootmakers +7yrs of wear ...

i checked your blog already actually, and saw the black can. 🙂 i'm also very minimal in which i mostly dont... i dilute some bicks in water and spray it but that doesnt seem to cut it lol. i am trying to use this on nubuck actually (dayton charcoal nubuck service boot) , not suede but also have some newer suede shoes that need a bit of love

Ah I used bick straight up on my Daytons. It burnished them some but I don’t particularly mind. The spray will do really well tho I think
