Distant render isn't working
I've installed it many times and followed TroubleChutes tutorial too, but it's not loading distant chunks. Any help would be appreciated. thank u

Confirm that Distant Horizons is installed correctly by checking if Distant Horizons setting button exists next to your FOV slider.
Next, what is your vanilla render distance set to?
Yeah i have the distant horizons button with the settings, vanilla render distance is like 12 i think. i thought that the vanilla render distance was like disabled should i put it higher?
Okay, all you need to do is wait for a few minutes. Depends on hardware, it can take from 5 to 10 minutes for the first DH chunks to appear. Give it some time then report back on anything.

What shaders are you using and what version?
Bliss DH idk which version but its the same with no shaders so
its ok now that i put my render distance higher but it lags a lot lol
I have the same problem, but it´s just with the shaders on, beacuse if I disable it the DH chunks appear
Are you using a compatible shaders as listed in #dh-shader-testing?
yeah, Im using bliss-shaders-DH
I'm curious if this is Fabric or Forge? I've been playing around with both but have never been able to get Forge working well with shaders and even the DH version of Bliss won't render the LOD map.
I think technically this server only supports Fabric though (since the Forge version of Iris is a fork by other devs)

Although I have found Bliss DH to be less stable in general than just grabbing the main branch of Bliss shaders

Skimming other threads, maybe make sure Iris is 1.7 since this is what happens on 1.6?

New issue I followed the steps step by step and when I have the newest installation of iris it just crashes my game on launch. But with the iris-mc 1.20.4-1.6.17.jar it works but no DH
Figured it out. It was the immediately fast mod. For some reason there was no error showing that it was the problem. Thankfully someone made a comment about it somewhere here.
Never mind I have another issue. Now DH just is not working at all. I have the mod here and the options but no effect. Even without shaders! I just worked and now it doesn’t?
Omg forgive me by the time I finished this comment a chunk loaded. I guess it just takes forever now since I don’t have immediately fast.
DH chunks are slow. You're lucky you don't have to wait long.
Nah I was in my world for a bit before I started typing it took about. 7 minutes.
