Installer Crash/Bug
Running the installer from the offical .dev site results in a cmd prompt flash for a split second then nothing. I have java installed and up to date.

Which launcher are you using? The vanilla launcher or any third-party launcher?
I assume vanilla its the .jar installer straight from https://irisshaders.dev/download
Download Now - IrisShaders
The Iris Installer - Designed to streamline your Iris experience. Our handy Installer's not your style? Try the standalone version!
I mean the game launcher, like Minecraft Launcher from the Microsoft Store, Prism Launcher, Modrinth Launcher, CurseForge, all those.
That is vanilla as well
Open your game launcher, see if a new profile was added to it. It should contain "Iris <something>" in the name, based on the installation method you choose with the installer.
No profile in the "Play" page nor in the "Installations" page
Push comes to shove, try removing all but your most important files in Minecraft's folder, rerun the installer again, and check if you get the Iris profile.
Heck I will just reinstall real quick and see. If not I'm really not sure whats causing it. Like I said my java is up to date and is recognizing the file type and the mincraft install isnt in some weird location.
Still no luck.
If we can't get it theres no big deal. Most of the things I was going to be adding are still unstable anyways.
Since IMS is the one working with the installer, I have to leave this to him to look into your case.
Alright, thanks man.
