Lagging in Distant Horizons
I have a relatively good PC, yet I'm getting insane stutters even without shaders. My cpu is at 50%, my GPU is at 50%, my ram is at 50%. I'm just wondering what could help

I've seen multiple videos of people with worse pc's get much better fps than me on more demanding settings

What mods do you have installed?
There are lots of mods that can improve your performance, for example C2ME, Noisium, Lithium, Sodium, Indium and more (all of these are fabric compatible, I don't know about forge)

how do I check
which minecraft launcher do you use?
i just installed it through iris and thats all

I also wanna add you could use the Java arguments to change the garbage collector behavior to optimize it further if there’s still some stutters.
it works much better now but some of the chunks don't load and idk if thats fixable
now its just not loading anything

Sometimes when I change around a few settings it just doesn't load

when I run DH with Bliss shaders I get usually 93-95C on both CPU and GPU on 100% utilisation
