Lagging in Distant Horizons
I have a relatively good PC, yet I'm getting insane stutters even without shaders. My cpu is at 50%, my GPU is at 50%, my ram is at 50%. I'm just wondering what could help
XXI've seen multiple videos of people with worse pc's get much better fps than me on more demanding settings

MWhat mods do you have installed?
MThere are lots of mods that can improve your performance, for example C2ME, Noisium, Lithium, Sodium, Indium and more (all of these are fabric compatible, I don't know about forge)

TI also wanna add you could use the Java arguments to change the garbage collector behavior to optimize it further if there’s still some stutters.
Xit works much better now but some of the chunks don't load and idk if thats fixable
