trying to pre generate an LOD area of 2048. World Gen tasks at around 1 million. is this normal? I have already pre generated with chunky. Taking days to gen LOD’s

I have a ryzen 3700 x, rtx 3080, a gen 3 nvme and 32 gb of 3600 mhz ram, with 16 of it dedicated. Just seems like something’s not right? Ben building lod’s for like 3-4 days now all night and while I’m at work.

You can also try Noisium, also helps with Chunk generation
But what you`re trying to load is a LOT, so its probably normal to take so long
Ok cool, I do still have some more question about it haha. I’ll link screen shots and ask when I get home in about an hour. Oh and I do already have Noisium.
ok so i did the Config changes to c2me and it didnt seem to effect much
but i have had these large holes in what i assume is the region Lods and the water changed color after it finshied a 1024 Lod area and i moved it to 2048. i have moved it down to 1536 to try and cover the closer holes faster and it moved my world gen tasks down to around 430 thousand.
that still seems high considering I generated the 1024 area in about an hour
and its taking 3 days to do anything above 1024

ok so it defenitly is working just be prepared to spend a week or more generating an area this large
Imagine optimized DH that can generate 1024 chunks in under 30 minutes
or even just not being so glitchy
that's a dream for the future
or a goal for James Seibel to work towards
It's open source so I guess anyone
