Low FPS with DH and shaders.
Ever since I installed DH and the accompanying shaders my FPS has been in the low 30s. Normally in vanilla I get 400+. I've attached a screenshot of the mods installed. My system consists of 64GB of RAM a i7-10700F, and an RTX 3060. Help would be appreciated!

can you send a screenshot of your F3 menu?
also it's not fair to compare vanilla to DH with shaders. Of course shaders are going to drop your fps a ton, and with DH it drops even more
of both vanilla and DH?
?
just launch a world, enable shaders, press F3, and send a screenshot of that
what is your render distance set to
66 chunks. I tried turning it down but nothing changes
66?? that's way too high
with DH you really shouldn't use any more than 16
DH will handle the rest
set it to 16 still at 25 FPS
The horizon isn't being distant either
im running 1.20.4 if that helps
idk. You probably just have to lower some settings like resolution, render distance, shader settings
there's settings for the actual shaders themselves?
yes.
in the same menu you enabled them in
ok, ill see if I can lower the severity of them
ty
managed to squeeze 40FPS from changing some things
Shaders and the longewr render distance does a good number on performance unfortunately
Just found if the game is in windowed mode the FPS goes up to 60/70
that's because you're shrinking your resolution
the less pixels the shader has to shade the better the performance
you can use resolution control+ to lower your render resolution while keeping the UI in 4K and you can use it in fullscreen

I don't know. Nothing's changed. I've never had this issue with shaders before
try decreasing shadow resolution in shader settings @Belly
that helped thanks. Its actually playable now. Up to 55 FPS
sounds about good for those specs glad i could help
