what to keep/sell out of these
I am trying to move to a more timeless style
Where one item contributes to a lot of outfits
well, which do you wear most often?
Would recommend a process of identifying what items you like wearing or reach for the most, to recognize what you're not really reaching for. I'd pare down from there
Atm the dunks the new balances air maxes and ultraboost for workout
Another observation. What do you mean by "timeless"? These are basically all sneakers, which are not going to last forever. If you really want to be wearing the same shoes in, say, 30 years, you probably need to get some well-made traditional leather shoes, and take good care of them.
Like lets say converse is more styleable than jordan 4 sbs right
Or white vans compared to sacai tan blazers
maybe, but that doesn't necessarily mean you should get rid of them just because they are harder to style. You don't want "versatile" to become "boring".
But what makes me sad is that
I cant wear some of these shoes at all
These for example
I havent worn once
If you can't/don't wear them and don't love them, then get rid of them. If you love them, keep them and figure out how to wear them. We can help.
I mean if I could wear these I would 100%
I bought all the shoes that I own because I liked them enough to buy them
Its just some I dont know how to style

I asked there thanks!
I also have some boat shoes sperry i think but they are a bit loose. Ill return them anyway should I get anything different for the summer? Something that I can wear with shorts and pants?
Pictures would be useful here. Almost nobody will know what every one of these shoes looks like and nobody's gonna take the time to look them all up
And some idea of how you dress / want to dress because just a shoe collection in a vacuum doesn't tell us much
as a shoe guy i do recognize most of these shoes and its a good sized collection but there seems to be a few pairs that have very similar silhouettes and/or colors. if you want to streamline the collection, maybe start by grouping them by those categories and seeing if there are any that you just aren't feeling as much. that being said, (and i say this as someone who has a lot of shoes) unless you absolutely have a need to downsize or get some quick cash from selling, i dont see any problem with keeping what you have and maybe just experimenting with the pairs you havent been wearing. also, its probably just a matter of time before someone suggests sambas or stan smiths
as for those af1s, i find that keeping the rest of my outfit more or less neutral lets me play around more with shoes that are a bit louder, but thats just me.
