TL;DR
- you are on forge
- you need to wait for oculus to update it's iris to 1.7
- BLS done't work with that Iris anyway
AND you are on 1.18. Iris does not support old versions, so MC1.18 will never get iris 1.7
CPU: 8x 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-12100F
DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND
Backend API: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060/PCIe/SSE2 GL version 3.2.0 NVIDIA 551.61, NVIDIA Corporation
I don't care about your specs
I was just posting my computer configuration.
they don't matter for the issue
for DH to work seamlessly with shaders you have done everything wrong
you need
- MC 1.20.1 or 1.20.4
- fabric
- iris 1.7
- bliss shaders (also in correct version)
older versions of Iris (and ocullus is iris ported to forge) will make all LOD are dissapear when you load shaders
Have you seen my mod? I'm making valkyrienskies airships and displaying them with DistantHorizons!
@lilong ight goober
use 4 brain cells, ill give you all the links you need (fabcric only)
i don't think bro has a single braincell
He might have, but they are lost in translation
I'll ask the author of Oc]oculus then.
its prob just a huge language barrier
also why did bro get a 4060
You have problem with 4060?
its overpriced
I wanted Nvidia... so if your argument is "AMD better" then it would not apply to me
I was looking for new GPU for a while and 4060 was the cheapest solution for performance I was looking for as where I live used market for working GPUs is horribly overpriced
20xx and 30xx were only more expensive for same power and more power hungry
i didn't know you didn't live in the us
You can buy gpu in china too.
1.18 isn't that old, is it ??
Still supported by DH. Not supported by Iris
Gotcha
once a given verison is made compatible it's easy for DH to keep that compatibility
so 1.12 support (which would make sense for some modpacks) is gonna appear when someone makes it, after that keeping it should be easy
