"dh chunks" dont have any levels of details on them if I dont load chunks beforehand.
They also sometimes miss the details on chunks that I have loaded.

u should put the cpu load higher
or its gonna be way too slow

try making a new world

to see if it happens again
1) Level of Detail refers to lowering the model complicity as when its really far you won't see the detail anyway
in this mod case the most accurate we can render is 1 flat colored block
so either you didn't understand that of your question is poorly worder

as example here is my currently oppened world, zommed with spyglass
I did not visit that village yet and you ca see a tree next to it
there are also trees further back which look weirder, that's casue thier LOD dropped for being that far

Try a binary search and figure out which mod is causing it.
So disable half of the mods, see if issue is still there, if yes disable half again etc etc until you find the mod that's causing the issue.

I believe the "Entity culling:
might have been a problem
just try removing mods
it always works
others had it, affects only entities should not be an issue
unless IT IS an issue

they load but only for like 2-5 chunks
I guess since you didn't go deeper in settings you didn't touch it, but verify for me

now it started to load some trees and details
idk why It didnt work on spawn
but when I tped 10000 blocks away it worked
so I think that enough for me
