LOD quality issue
Wherever I spawn in, the LOD chunks load in just right with the close ones having higher quality and the father ones lower. However, this quality stays the same for each region even if I travel far away, not updating the quality of the LOD chunks with my current position but with my original spawn position. Any idea as to why this would be?

You can adjust the quality drop intervals in the configuration windows
The way the quality drops with distance is just fine for me right now but it just doesnt update with my position as i move

well then you need to get your cpu load setting higher
I think i have it on extreme right now, I can double check
that's the render quality not the CPU load

I'm 90 percent sure it's faster to render LODs
or build them or whatever
uses all the threads a CPU has
Well my LODs render very quickl, no issues with that, its just the quality of them doesnt update with my position, heres some screenshots

As you can see they dont update their quality even if i am close

I didn't have that issue, are you using the very latest build?
I have a version I downloaded a couple weeks ago at this point so something might've changed

I just used to Iris installer
That allows you to get the Iris + DH beta
yeah the newest versions, I downloaded the mods individually from now removed links
i believe these are the newest
I found the issue. You just have to disable distant generation. Not sure why that is but it worked for me!
that's what does most of the distant rendering though XD
That's what I was thinking to but if I use chunky to pregenetate all the chunks I'm going to use then dh won't need to do any generating of it's own, we'll see though I haven't tested fully
Oh yeah I guess that the distant rendering is what does the chunk pregening
I haven't had any issues with it
