Is it supposed to look like this? Tried with and without additional mods, change settings, and allocate more RAM, nothing changes

@chmonyasik looks like your LODs haven't finished generating, give it some time

thanks for the reply, then I'll sit a bit longer and see if it loads, can I ask one more question? Is it possible to render only the top of a chunk and not the whole chunk? Or it doesn't have a big impact on overall performance? Plus is it possible to make the water shaderized somehow in this version, or this will be in the future?

There are some quality settings in the Distant Horizons config you can try messing with. Although they may make it take even longer for your LODs to build, so be forewarned. As far as water, I can only say that water seemed to be affected by the shader for me, so I'm not entirely certain what's happening in this screenshot. Just make sure you're running the very latest version of Bliss (pinned: #Bliss)

I think this is antithetical to the purpose of LODs making the game run faster so probably not you can check the quality settings though

Yes, but it's just a bit weird considering there's a function to crop the render below a certain height, and allowing people to show ground under water seems fine to me, thanks! (the best quality doesn't solve it)

Well another factor is that rendering transparent objects is really hard so it could eb that as well

just increase render quality, dh 2.0 can draw the ground below water too just at the cost of performance
