LOD generation is painfully slow, even with "i paid for the whole cpu" options on, ram is high

I'm running this on a 5600X with no background tasks (i tried removing as much as i was able to). any known stuff? 1.20.4 btw

is this the first time loading the lods? the second time it'll be like 15x faster
