120FPS

There was rumors going around that 120FPS will be released with the 3.1 update and the extreme+ graphic option, is that actually planned for the future? Becuase by now it isn't released yet.

I just saw this. Will devices that support 90fps continue to support 120fps when it's released? I am thinking about changing my phone because of the 90fps but since I saw this I've been skeptical as to if I should go ahead and get the new phone or wait till the supported device list is released. I'm planning on getting a Samsung galaxy s21+ with the snapdragon 888 chip @Quendi hope I get a response soon

From my knowledge, for a phone to support 120fps, it has to have 120hz refresh rate and a capable processor which the s21 plus has. But it's up to pubg to decide if it's better to put 120fps in it@krasi_xx

Your phone may be capable of getting 90 fps. Not 120. Like everyone said Samsung suck at gaming (ex S23U and S24U) and you have minimal chance to get even 110 fps in-game. 90 fps is okay but anything above that is no chance. Snapdragon 888 can run 120 fps in other games tho, not in pubg mobile. I think the minimum CPU requirements for android users will be is "snapdragon 8 gen 1 or 8+ gen 1". If I were you, I'd be happy to have more than 60 fps 😄

In theory, any processor that meets the requirements can be supported, but it depends on the attitude of the phone manufacturer and Tencent:pubgm_reject:

that's right, but they can't put everyone at 120 fps and have a 3-year-old processor that is nearing the end of its life. But I'm pretty sure the chance of Snapdragon 888 having 120 fps in Pubg Mobile is 0.01%. Pubg is heavy game even more so when it's in-game playing classic match. if it was only TDM maybe yes because it's not that big a map and doesn't require so much rendering and reloading

In theory, phones equipped with Snapdragon 888 can receive 120FPS support, but due to Qualcomm's mistake of choosing Samsung to contract the Snapdragon 888 to save costs at the time, phones equipped with this processor generated severe heat, preventing them from performing at their best performance:pubgm_revive:

If Qualcomm had chosen to have TSMC contract manufacturing at that time, the best performance of Snapdragon 888 would have been possible. Unfortunately, this sentence was only spoken today:pubgm_sweatsmile:
