What is the meaning of the environment/wind/angleTrueGround ?
Subj.
The description is "True wind angle based on speed over ground". What is the difference from "Apparent wind angle"?

For difference between apparent and true wind see for example https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apparent_wind
Apparent wind
Apparent wind is the wind experienced by a moving object.
Then there’s the difference between calculating true wind from apparent wind and either speed through water and speed over ground
Ok, then what does it mean of the environment/wind/directionTrue?
Angle: relative to bow. Direction: relative to north, in this case true north
I don't understand at all why there's a need the true wind angle relative to bow...
why do you then care? 😃
example:
- apparent wind speed 8 kn
- apparent wind angle 60
- boat speed 4 knots
=> true wind angle 90, 30 degrees from what your windvane and your beard flying in the wind tells you
why do you then care?Because I want to make a right dashboard. If I want to use a wind/directionMagnetic -- what should I take as wind speed?
